Any woman in perimenopause or menopause knows that her body is changing as she ages, and what used to work before or what works for others just doesn’t cut it.
I know what it’s like having hormone issues that has our body changing as we age! I moved to the U.S. in 2004, and I wanted to immerse myself in the American lifestyle, so I started eating more of the Standard American Diet and sure enough I started putting on weight.
To top that off, I also developed hormonal imbalances which later hindered my efforts to drop the weight and wreaked havoc on my body. I struggled with finding the right diet for my unique body due to these issues and most of all, one that made me feel healthy and energetic.
I decided to go back to my roots. By leaning into my own experiences and listening to my own unique body, I discovered a profound way to not only lose the weight and boost my energy levels but create a lifestyle that not only supported my health and wellbeing but my family too.
